Privacy.
Short version: if you send me your name, phone, email, or a message, I use it to call or write back about your website. That's it. I don't sell it, I don't add you to a mailing list, and I don't share it with anyone except the tools that help me receive the message.
What I collect
When you fill out the contact form on this site, or a lead form inside a Facebook or Instagram ad, I get whatever you typed in: your name, phone number, message, and email if you added one. Nothing else, no hidden fields.
The site also runs PostHog analytics, which records anonymous page-view stats (what pages people land on, roughly where in the world they are) so I can see if my ads are working. It doesn't capture form contents and doesn't identify you by name.
How I use it
I use your details to call or write back about the website you're asking about. Usually that's a same-day phone call or email. If you don't end up booking, I delete the message.
Who else sees it
To actually receive your message I rely on a few tools:
- Formspree. The form on this site sends through them, and they forward it to my Gmail.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram). If you filled out a lead form inside an ad, your details sit in Meta's lead-form storage until I download them.
- Google (Gmail). That's where the messages land so I can read and reply to them.
Each of those companies has its own privacy terms. I don't pass your details to anyone else, and I don't use them for anything beyond writing back to you.
How long I keep it
If we end up working together, I keep your contact details for as long as the project runs plus a year or so for tax records. If we don't, I delete the message within a few months.
Your choices
You can ask me to delete your details at any time, or tell me what I have on file, by emailing kobemakeswebsites@gmail.com or calling 0401 436 630. I'll respond within a few days.
Cookies
The site uses one analytics cookie (PostHog) to count visits. It doesn't follow you around the web. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking pixels.
Who I am
Kobe. I build websites for small businesses in Sydney's Inner West. If anything on this page is unclear, just ask me at kobemakeswebsites@gmail.com and I'll explain in plain words.
